We went to the Kalapana Wednesday Market, drank lemonade, ate fish and chips. Bad idea. Here are a couple of photos.

I would have stayed much later but driving in the dark is a HUGE challenge. It's very black and any roadside warnings and other car lights are very distracting.
Alka Seltzer would go well now. I will have to make do with lemon, ginger and licorice tea.
Oh, so sorry about the bug! I hope it wasn't from some unfamiliar food.
ReplyDeleteI love traditional Hawaiian music, too. What a treat to hear it live there. :-)
I hope you get all rested up, and feel spunky again fast!
Hope you feel better soon... I like those glass pipes too... found one while walking along a rural road in Texas and didn't even know what it was for.... kept it anyway. It's been a few years since we've been to Hawaii... your photos make me want to go back. And... Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeletesorry you are sick on your vacation :( Hope you get better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better, love the sign lol.... :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you are having a good time. Sorry about the tummy bug. They are always lurking somewhere. Quiet Easter for us. Catching up on ourselves. Did travel to Matarangi for Bronwyn's birthday which we enjoyed. Neill fencing today and me pottering around the house. Still plenty to do. Nice to catch up with Wayne and Amanda. They look well.
